Ignition is the most fundamental biodynamic therapeutic process. The focus of this 4 day class is to understand and perceive the five stages of conception ignition – synch ron ization, augmentation, spark, permeation and disengagement. Students will learn to explore this process as a layer of biodynamic experience within the phases of Primary inhalation and Primary exhalation. The role of dynamic stillness in therapeutic practice will also be emphasized. Included in this class will be an overview of the midline from the point of view of depth psychology and creation mythology. The embryology of the first week of development will be covered in detail. This will be integrated with practical table work. Discreet skills to balance the ventricles will be taught. An introduction to conception shock and death anxiety as it relates to embryonic experience will also be presented.
