This seminar is about the central spiral of fluid in the core of the body. It forms the heart and midline of the embryo. It’s present the moment the sperm enters the egg and creates a midline at the point of entry extending all the way through the fluid body of the zygote, and it’s present at birth. To access this midline participants will learn to differentiate the Mid Tide from the tidal body of Primary Respiration. Embryonic and birth imprinting held in the fluids of the adult and pediatric client will also be covered.
The relationship of stillness during embryonic growth is different at birth and during infancy, and the second part of this seminar is about that Stillness. You will learn to sense the difference of internal and external stillness during these critical transitions. This means understanding the therapeutic relationship as first a metabolic embryonic process, and then a physiological process based in the attachment and bonding issues between an infant and caregiver.
In general, there will be somatic and didactic preparation in the mornings, and the afternoons will be devoted to your hands-on experience and further development through your practicing and receiving these professional skills.
Learning Objectives:
• Palpate the core spiral of fluids in the Mid Tide that form the heart.
• Learn infant brain development and attachment theory.
• Understand the embryonic foundations of the therapeutic relationship.
• Sense Primary Respiration as the therapeutic force of healing.
• Palpate the dynamic morphology of the embryo in the adult client.
• Study the therapeutic relationship as a circulatory system in biodynamic practice.
